Out-of-State
College Nights
Admissions
officers from approximately 200 out-of-state colleges meet with
high school students and parents. Personal contact allows participants
the opportunity to get the most up-to-date information on colleges.
Because gymnasium space is limited, participation by colleges
is on an invitation-only basis. Colleges are located in gymnasiums
in alphabetical order. Handicap access and assistance is provided.
Saturday College Fair and Workshops
Approximately
200-240 in-state and out-of-state colleges and universities provide
information tables and workshop sessions on subjects relating
to the college process. See the 2008 Workshop
Sessions Schedule below. College admissions officers are located
in gymnasiums in alphabetical order. Concurrently, one-hour workshop
sessions are held in classroom settings. These programs are open
to students as well as parents. Presenters are skilled education
professionals. In resource areas, organizational information on
programs such as ROTC programs, financial aid information, etc.
